Whalebone

Over forty boats including old working boats, Saturn a restored fly boat and trading boats will meet at Maesbury for the Festival. Within the grounds of Canal Central there will be exciting children’s activities, stalls and craft demonstrations (some of which will offer ‘hands on’ participation) including blacksmithing skills, weaving, wood turning, canal art painting, jewellery making, felting and dyeing. Morris Dancers and the Porth y Waen junior brass band will also be entertaining the visitors. The evening ticket includes supper, tickets can be obtained from Canal Central.
