What a brilliant gig at the Shropshire Wildlife Trust in Shrewsbury last Saturday. Thanks to all the people who came along and to the fab team at Shropshire Wildlife who helped us to stage the concert.
If you haven't been, it is a wonderful place with a lovely gift shop! All three of us are members of Shropshire Wildlife and at the Trust's headquarters in Shrewsbury there's a walled garden incorporating vegetable beds, climbing roses, a solar fountain, many interesting fruit trees and shrubs and a wooded area with spring bulbs. Wildflowers and other plants are on sale during spring and summer and the shop stocks a wide range of bird food and feeders along with numerous gift items and greeting cards. Visitors can buy refreshments and take a seat in the quiet surroundings of the garden, or indoors in the historic buildings, which were once part of the nearby abbey.
