A River of Sound: Our Take on Joni Mitchell's Classic
We've always loved Joni Mitchell's “River”, with its bittersweet feeling of Christmastime, the longing for simpler days, the quiet beauty. We wanted to pay tribute to this incredible song with our own version, and we hope we've done it justice. Two guitars, weaving in and out, trying to capture that same nostalgic vibe. We kept it stripped-down, focusing on the melody and the emotion.
We've poured our hearts into it, and we hope you can feel that in the music, and you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it. It's been a real labor of love, and we can't wait to share it with you.
Incidentally, for once, the great British weather played ball this week and delivered some snow! So we took the opportunity to film the River Severn looking more festive :)
